Wladimir Klitschko vs Jean-Marc Mormeck
by Dr. Octagon, J.D.
Another Saturday afternoon, another heavyweight fighting an undersized opponent on Epix.
As we learned last week, when Marco Huck demolished the larger Alexander Povetkin only to lose the fight on every card, the German judges don’t like upsets. In other words, Jean-Marc Mormeck is going to need a knockout to win this fight. Wladimir Klitschko is easily six inches taller than Mormeck, who is more of a cruiserweight than a heavyweight. Wlad’s last fight was against the coward David Haye, who talked a big game and then spent 12 rounds running, only to claim a toe injury afterward. Hopefully theFrenchman will have a little more of a warrior spirit than the despicable Haye, who recently courted controversy by starting a brawl with Dereck Chisora at the post-fight press conference after Chisora’s fight with Vitali Klitschko.
Basically, this would be one of the biggest upsets of all time if Wladimir loses. 54,000 people are on hand to watch the overmatched Frenchman take a beating. Epix just lost the signal as Mormeck walks into the ring. Wlad walks in to a Chili Peppers track Can’t Stop. The Germans do not skimp on stadium lasers, that’s for sure. National anthems have been played. Mormeck is wearing a black vest with sequins that would not look out of place in a homosexual biker bar. Wlad is wearing a very nice red and gold robe. Let’s get ready to rumble. Live updates after the jump:[[MORE]]

Round 4: Klitschko is loading up on the right now, trying to finish this one. Mormeck lands the best punch he’s landed all fight. Klitschko looks angry and lands a left jab, then a right to the eye and a left hook and this fight appears to be over.
