Urijah Faber vs Brian Bowles

This matchup features Brian Bowles’ helmet haircut against Urijah Faber’s buttchin (which is even more pronounced after cutting weight). Who do you like?

Faber has been saying recently that he won his fight against Dominick Cruz, which is insane. He’ll get a rematch if he can win this fight because he’s the only small guy that people will buy a PPV to watch. Urijah looks enormous at this weight. I expect him to win based on strength and experience.

Round 1-Urijah is throwing bombs, but they’re not landing. Doesn’t matter if it goes to the cards, as we’ve seen that one of the judges is giving out points for wild misses. Faber is landing some shots now and chasing Bowles around the ring. Faber with the shot, falls into a loose guillotine and gets out. Urijah postures up and throws a falling elbow as the round ends.

Round 2-Faber lands a massive uppercut and Bowles is in bad shape. Urijah follows him to the ground and lights him up. Tons of shots on the dazed Bowles. Punches and knees to the body. Urijah just landed a sickening elbow to the back of the head and is going for the choke. Bowles taps. Faber wins. 

Faber by choke in the second. Great fight and the hometown crowd is appreciative.
