Uri Alcantara vs Michihiro Omigawa

Round 1-Knee from Alcantara right after they tap gloves. The Japanese fighter is getting the worse of the striking so far. Omigawa keeps his hands really low. Omigawa tried a spinning backfist which didn’t do anything. Nice combination from Uri. Omigawa eats a big knee.

Spinning back elbow from Uri that lands flush. Fighters scramble and Alcantara gets his back. Omigawa stands up and slams Uri down, now in his guard but not doing a ton of damage. Omigawa to half guard and back into guard. Uri throws up an arm bar and I think managed to break Omigawa’s arm before the horn. There was no tap before the horn, but we’ll see if he comes out. That arm looks broken. 10-9 Alcantara.

Round 2-Round two is on as planned. Damn Omigawa is one tough mofo, he has both arms bent. Uri lands a head kick and a left punch. Omigawa is throwing punches with both hands, his arm might not be broken. Uri catches Omigawa with a right to the chin and gets on top in the guard. Uri steps over into the mount and then gets his back with three minutes to spare.

Uri landing punches while going for the choke. Uri gets his arm under the chin, but Omigawa escapes. Omigawa is bleeding heavily from his right ear. Uri doing some damage from the top as the round ends. 10-9 Alcantara.

Round 3-Alcantara seems to be winning in the standup, but he looks tired. Omigawa needs a knockout to win this one and doesn’t seem to be going for one. Omigawa lands an elbow and has Uri down. Not doing a lot of damage. Ref stands them up with fifteen seconds. Alcantara gets top control as the round ends. 10-9 Omigawa.
