UFC Live: Melvin Guillard vs Jim Miller

Melvin Guillard shows flashes of brilliance on the feet, but he’s also reckless. Jim Miller is slick on the ground.

Round 1-Guillard thows a flying knee early. He doesn’t seem to be any less aggressive after his loss to Lauzon. Miller comes in and it looks like he got caught. Guillard lands a few knees in the clinch while Jim Miller fights for the takedwon.

Guillard is swinging for the fences. Miller needs to work the takedown. Guillard has now thrown three flying knees in two minutes. It’s pretty impressive that he was able to throw all of them without getting taken down.

Guillard throws another flying knee and it looks like it lands, but he’s then taken down. Guillard is able to stand up, but Miller sinks the rear naked while he’s standing. They fall to the ground and Miller finishes it. 

Guillard loses again after being overly aggressive. Too many fucking flying knees man. I can’t believe that shit. If he just boxed for three rounds he would have had a much better shot.
