UFC 164 Live: Pascal Krauss vs Hyun Gyu Lim

One fight down, one terrible scorecard. Pascal Krauss vs Hyun Gyu Lim up next, hopefully this one doesn’t go to the judges.

Round 1: Leg kick by Krauss. Lim is pumping the jab, then lands a right. Krauss lands a left. Krauss lands a right. Leg kick by Krauss. Pair of punches land for Lim. The fighters exchange.  Jab lands for Krauss. Lim is really winging the hook. Kruass scores with another pair of punches. Front kicks from both fighters.

Krauss kicks, Lim catches it and puts him down. But Lim lets Krauss get back up. Krauss is landing the jab pretty regularly.  Krauss throws a right, but Lim ducks under it. Krauss scores with the jab again. Krauss is scoring at will, but doesn’t seem to be bothering Lim that much so far.

Lim lands a right. Lim is eating jabs, but landing hooks. Lim lands a right to the forehead. Delayed reaction from Krauss who starts to wobble and goes down. Lim lands a few more punches; Krauss is able to stand, but is still wobbly and almost falls down again without being touched.

Lim realizes that Krauss is hurt and pushes the action some more. Now Krauss looks like he has his wits back and lands a big right hook. Krauss looks for a takedown. Another huge right hook from Lim. Lim comes in with a left knee to the face and two more punches; Krauss is finally finished.

Krauss showed some serious chin there, but he needs to improve his defense. He really didn’t defend a single punch.
