Tim Boetsch vs. Yushin Okami

Round 1- Boetsch landed a right.  Okami just put a right jab into Boetsch’s eye.  Okami lands a left .  Okami’s jab lands again.  Big kick from Okami, but it misses.  Okami is scoring with the jab.  Boetsch’s left eye already looks bad.  Boetsch shoots and boetsch stuffs it.  Okami is popping Boetsch.  Nice Right kick to the face.  Boetsch lands a nice kick to the body.  Okami lands the right again.  Okami throws another head kick, which Boetsch blocks.  Okami’s boxing looks sharp.  Boetsch is coming forward, but his punches are sloppy.  Boetsch landed a right there though.  Boetsch’s face is fucked up already.

Round 2- Okami lands a nice knee to the body.  Boetsch keeps touching his nose, which is bleeding pretty badly.  Okami has two underhooks on Boetsch, and is going for the takedown.  Gets the takedown, but Boetsch is going for a guillotine.  It is nice and low, but Boetsch doesn’t have enough leverage because Okami has his right leg pinned.  Yushin is out and on top now.  Going for an arm triangle, but can’t finish it.    Yushin landing body shots and is going for a kimura.  Gets the full mount, but gave up on the kimura.  Now landing a ton of punches from the top position.

10-9 Okami.  Translation from Okami’s trainers: “If you think you can finish him, go ahead and do it.  Tim’s corner told him to be super aggressive.  He needs to finish this fight.

Round 3- Boetsch lands a nice right.  Big kick.  Okami is staggered.  Backing up. Boetsch is poppping him Okami is in trouble.  Getting killed by numerous uppercuts.  Head kick.  More uppercuts.  Okami is down.  Boetsch is shocked that the ref hasn’t stopped it and throws down some serious bombs on the knocked out Okami.

WOW!!!!!!  Now that’s what you do when you’re down 2 rounds in the third.  Tim Boetsch goes for broke and gets an amazing comeback victory.  Okami took a ton of punishment before he went out.
