Strikeforce Interlude: Killing Time

If you can say one positive thing for Strikeforce, it is that they have these guys walk out fast after the previous bums got their asses handed to them in the first round.

Gus Johnson is now calling Mauro Ranallo a legend as well for some reason. I guess he is a legendary b-list MMA announcer. They’re starting to talk about a Japanese segment of the Grand Prix, looks like they have given up getting their steroid fighters licensed in the states. Showing some videogame previews. Frank Shamrock says Werdum has beaten “six of the seven fighters in this tournament.” Someone get this dude a teleprompter. Gus Johnson just referred to the shouty Spanish guy as “the voice of mixed martial arts."  This is just stupid.

He’s also saying Kharatinov has a good chance of winning the tournament.  I guess we’ll have to see.  Bum fight number four or a halfway decent contest?  I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
