Stephan Bonnar vs Kyle Kingsbury

Stephan Bonnar is never in a bad fight. This is going to be a bloodbath.
Kyle Kingsbury comes in to “Everybody’s Working for the Weekend.” My fraternity used to play that song on repeat during hell weak to torture the pledges. Imagine eating dog food slurry while listening to that shit. Ref looks like Captain Kirk. Round-by-round updates after the jump:
Round 1-Bonnar and Kingsbury exchange, Kingsbury pins Bonnar on the cage and when they disengage Bonnar really catches him. He doesn’t pursue it for some reason. Nut shot stops the action and they get right back into it. Fighters clinch and Kingsbury pushes Bonnar against the cage again.
Kingsbury is definitely the stronger man, but Bonnar looks better in the standup thus far. Kingsbury is bleeding from the nose. Bonnar tries and fails to execute a judo throw, then runs away from Kingsbury covering his head. fter the scramble Bonnar connects a few more times. Typical Bonnar fireworks in the first round.
Bonnar goes for the takedown and instead of defending Kingsbury just sort of falls on his ass. Jesus. I don’t know if he’s tired or just has absolutely no takedown defense. Bonnar is working on what looks like an arm triangle, but doesn’t get it as he opts to posture up in the full mount and punish Kingsbury until the end of the round. Fucking awesome round. 10-9 to the American Psycho, Stephan Bonnar.
Round 2-Bonnar landing his left jab at will. Kingsbury better land a big shot soon because he looks like shit on the feet and on the ground. Don’t see how he is going to win this one. Bonnar gets the takedown and is at half guard. Kingsbury looks totally out of his element on the ground and Bonnar has four minutes to work on him.
Bonnar advances position to side control. Bonnar has a sick crucifix going and punishes Kyle’s bald dome with elbows and hammer fists. Bonnar gets back in the crucifix position and bashes Kingsbury to the head and body. Bonnar is going for a guillotine and if he can mount he should be able to finish the fight.
Bonnar couldn’t get the mount and is back to half guard. Bonnar back to the arm triangle, but loses it. Stephan gets in a few more shots as the round ends.
10-9 Bonnar. He’s looking great. If he can avoid getting caught, he’ll win the fight.
Round 3-Bonnar gets another takedown and Kingsbury is in for another round of punishment because he doesn’t know what the fuck to do on the ground. North-south to crucifix. Crowd is booing, but this is a good fight. Bunch of dumbasses. A few elbows to the head should cheer them up.
Bonnar pummeling Kingsbury from the crucifix position. Bonnar now has his taint in Kingsbury’s grill and is elbowing the body. Kingsbury finally tries to stand up, but can’t do anything. Kingsbury is bleeding from his face. I told you this would be bloody. Fight ends. Bonnar won that one for sure and apologizes to the fans for not putting on a better show.
Judges score it 30-27 (twice) and 30-25 for Bonnar. One judge is straight whorish with those 10-8 rounds. Two of them? I didn’t see any rounds that warranted such a lopsided score. Don’t let it go to the cards guys. These judges are idiots.
Bonnar says he isn’t used to the fans booing him. At least he had the right game plan for the win.
