Spencer Fisher vs Sam Stout

Round 1: Fighters throwing bombs already.  Standing in the pocket and throwing bombs.  I think Fisher has landed the better punches so far.  Fisher with a nice right.  Stout shoots and gets the takedown.  Fisher is landing shots from the bottom.  Stout is working the ground and pound.  Stout lets Fisher back up.  Shoots again with a double and Fisher works to his feet.  Fighters exchange knees.  Fisher throws a spinning backfist as the round ends.

10-9 Stout on the ground and pound. Best strikes of the round were landed on the ground.

Round 2: James Hetfield is cageside.  Stout lands a right.  Fisher lands a right.  fisher lands another right.  Fisher lands a left.  Fisher lands a combination.  Stout shoots, drops down to the single leg, but can’t do anything with it.  Fisher can win this if he keeps it on the feet.  Fisher misses with a spinning backfist.  Stout’s right eye has a bit of swelling under it.  Stout lands a nice bodyshot.  Fisher is coming forward still and lands a right.  Fisher keeps landing the right hook.  Fisher is throwing bombs.  Nutshot by Fisher and the fighters get a break.  Stout shoots and gets the takedown.  Stout is working the ground and pound.

10-9 Fisher. Stout should have shot earlier, he almost stole the round.

Round 3: Stout’s right eye looks like shit.  Fisher looks ravaged by time, but otherwise fine.  Fisher gets punched while landing some spinning shit, but he comes back and lands a right hook.  Fisher pushes stout against the ground and is kneeing his body.  Sam tries to get a takedown, but it is stuffed.  Spencer is picking Sam apart on the feet.  It is weird that it looks to me like Fisher is landing the right hook more than anything, but Spencer’s right eye is what is fucked.  Oh jeez, Fisher just tagged the injured eye three times in a row.  I take that back.  Stout needs to get this to the ground right now.  He’s losing this fight right now.  Right hook from Fisher.  Nice left from Fisher.  Stout shoots and gets a takedown with two minutes left to work, but Fisher is up against the cage and is already standing up.  Fisher’s up.  Stout shoots again, but Fisher backs up against the cage, but Stout gets a single and finishes the takedown.  Stout in half guard with a minute left to work.  The ref stands them up.  Ugh.  Stout was totally working still.  Fisher lands a right.  Now both fighters are teeing off.  Putting on a show.  They want that fight of the night bonus and hug in the center of the cage as the round ends.  Fisher is now cut on the bridge of his nose.

I have it 29-28 Fisher. 

Judges score it 30-27 for Sam Stout. Those last two rounds were close I suppose, but I thought Fisher landed the better shots on the feet.
