Ross Pearson vs George Sotiropolous

There’s a lot of nationalism on display here between the United Kingdom and its former penal colony. We’ve got a grappler versus a striker here. Ross Pearson comes out to some sort of wussy EDM. George Sotiropolous comes out to “Iron Man” by Black Sabbath.
The robosound opening in Iron Man is achieved by bending the open low E behind the nut, while simultaneously playing the octave on the D string second fret. Tony Iommi is a genius. Behold the inventors of doom metal. Advantage Sotiropolous. I’m surprised he didn’t come out to AC/DC, the official band of Australia. Australians actually believe AC/DC is better than Led Zeppelin. Round 1: Ross lands a left hand. Pearson with a right. Left from Ross. Leg kick from Ross. Huge right, then a big left from Ross. Sotiropolous is wobbling bad, but he’s still holding on for dear life. Concussion Sotiropolous. George lands a knee from the clinch, bur Ross returns fire.
Ross is coming forward and throwing with bad intentions; he lands a massive right. The left from Pearson lands again. Pearson lands a leg kick that sends George down again. Pearson kicks Ross in the ass and lets him stand. Pair of punches from Ross. George is covering his face.
Ross lands another, but eats a jab. George still looks wobbly. Left from Ross. George lands a jab. Front kick from George. George shoots for a double and completes the takedown, but Pearson pops back up. Sotiropolous jumps on his back and has a body triangle locked in with thirty seconds left to work. George is going for the rear naked choke, Ross is standing and slams him off. George ends up on top as the round ends.
10-9 Ross. (JUST FYI, EVERYONE IS MOVING TO METRO, INCLUDING THE UFC)
Round 2: Head kick from George. Bodyshot from Ross. Ross with another bodyshot. George misses a jab. Ross is coming forward, but he hasn’t landed very well. Jab by Goerge. Ross looks tired. Ross is eating jabs. Leg kick from Ross. George jabs. Ross is losing this round.
Pearson lands a hook, then a bodyshot. Goerge lands a left and a jab, Ross sticks out his tongue in response. Ross catches George with a left and sends him down on his ass. Ross doesn’t want to go in his guard, so George gets up. Left hook from Pearson. George lands a right. Ross lands a leg kick and slips. George shoots for the takedown, but doesn’t get it.
Currently enjoying commercials for EZPawn and Value Pawn. I was trying to decide where to fence some goods and that commercial sold me. Their pawnshop employees look very professional.
10-9 Ross I guess. That was closer. George might have landed more punches, but Ross had the better shots.
Round 3: Ross lands another left hook and George is hurt. George goes to his ass, and Ross follows, but then decides better of it and lets George stand. George tries to shoot again, but he’s hurt and Ross stuffs it. Ross goes to the body and follows with another punch. Ross comes with the right hook to the head, a left jab and then a massive right hook to the face. George goes down hard. Ross tags him with one more punch when he’s on the ground and the ref, who looks like a tubby version of Bisping, stops it.
