Robbie Lawler vs Lorenz Larkin

Round 1: Lawler landed a big right hook and Lawler follows landing a few shots, realizing that he’s hurt Larkin.  He has Larkin up against the cage, but Larkin works a trip and has Lawler on his back with three minutes left to work.  Larkin landing elbows.  Lawler able to get back up.  Pushes Larkin against the cage.  Larkin lands a few shots from in close.  Lawler throws a body kick.  Larkin with a vicious right uppercut and then a right elbow.  Lawler has Larkin up against the cage Larkin shoves Lawler off and tees off.  He’s got a hold of Lawler’s head and is landing knees and elbows from the clinch.  Knee from Lawler.  Lawler lands another left and a knee to the body.

Round 2: Larkin leg kick. Larkin with a straight right that hurt lawler badly.  Larkin lands a knee and Lawler ties him up.  Larkin has Lawler’s head.  As the fighters disengage Lawler lands two shots.  Lawler has Larkin against the cage and is going for a takedown.  Larkin locks in a guillotine, but Lawler rolls out of it.  Lawler lands an uppercut.  Knee from Larkin.  Pushing against the fence.  Larkin lands an elbow.  Big John is bored and breaks them up and puts them back in the center.  Big kick from Larkin and Lawler ducks under it.  Looks like that kick must have hit Lawler a bit because he is bleeding pretty badly.

Round 3: Lawler knows he is behind and is coming forward.  Lawler throws some punches and pins Larkin against the fence.  Lawler drops down for the single and is looking for the takedown.  Not a good move.  Lawler lands a left while he has Larkin’s leg.  Larkin eats a knee and a left hook.  Lawler with the head kick, blocked.  Lawler is backing up now, when he needs to move forward.  Push kicks from Larkin.  Front kick from Larkin, but it doesn’t land well.  Larkin still trying to finish the fight.  Lawler lands a left hook.  Larkin lands a right.  Larkin lands a left hook and a right uppercut.  bottie looks tentative.  Lawler bleeding badly from the cut to his head.  Head kick by lawler blocked.  Stright right from Larkin connects.  Larkin doing some damage.  Big elbows from Larkin.

I score it 30-27 Larkin. All three judges score it the same. Lorenz Larkin by unanimous decision.
