No one is giving Antonio Rogerio Nogueira much of a chance against Rashad Evans, but people said the same thing about Bigfoot. Rogerio’s looked pretty crummy since he’s been in the UFC. Round 1- Body kick by Rashad. Head kick by Rashad and some foot tape goes flying as it is blocked. Not a lot of action so far. Left by Nog. Left by Nog. Big right by Rashad. Best punch so far. Shitty round. Someone tell these guys that this is a three round fight. Rashad gets the takedown, but Nog pops up. Rashad throws another head kick. Not sure who won that one. Nothing happened.

He says they’re good to go. this fight can’t end soon enough as far as I’m concerned. No one really wants to clearly win it I guess. Two and a half left. Nog lands a nice left. He’s not doing shit. this is going to be a huge upset when he loses. Just getting jabbed in the eye. Rashad shoots and Nog stuffs the takedown. Strange fight. Rasha lands a jab. Rashad thorws the overhand right and it is blocked. Crowd is booing.
29-28 for Nog unanimously. That was a terrible fight. An early contender for worst fight of the year. Nog really didn’t look very good. He didn’t do much damage, but stuffed takedowns effectively. Just worked harder and had sharper striking than Rashad. Rashad didn’t look like he wanted to win it at all and was a huge favorite. Little Nog beat Tito most recently by TKO (Thank you to theportssoundoff for the correction), but before that was coming off a two fight losing streak and the fight before that he won an undeserved split decision against Jason Brilz. If you bet the underdogs tonight you would have cleaned up. Wilmer Valderamma is cageside with JWOWW (who is buddies with Frankie Edgar).
Time for the main event. I hope that it is better than that piece of shit.
