Rafael Dos Anjos Mauls Cowboy Cerrone in Round 1

Round 1: UFC lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos lands a straight left early. “Cowboy” Donald Cerrone lands a leg kick, but Dos Anjos lands a knee to the body, a body kick and Dos Anjos is swarming. Dos Anjos lands a ton of shots against the cage.

They go to the ground and Dos Anjos pounds it out with punches to the head. Referee Herb Dean waves it off.

There’s a lot of talk of UFC bantamweight champion Conor McGregor fighting Dos Anjos. I think Dos Anjos would kill Conor, but McGregor can probably fight whoever he wants, given that he’s by far the most popular fighter in the UFC right now.

Personally, I’d like to see Dos Anjos fight Tony Ferguson and Conor fight Frankie Edgar.
