Quinton Jackson vs. Ryan Bader

Rampage missed weight by six pounds and is looking soft.

Round 1- Rampage raises his arms because Bader isn’t engaging.  Bader clinches Quinton against the fence.  Rampage pushes him off.  Bader throws a superman punch.  Bader landed an overhand right.  Bader lands a leg kick.  Bader throws another big right that looked like it might have landed and then pushes Rampage against the cage.  Bader lands a left.  Rampage is not throwing many punches.  Bader has Rampage’s head and Rampage puts his hand down so Bader can’t throw knees.  Rampage finally starts swinging as the round ends.

10-9 Bader who didn’t do much damage, but won the round.

Round 2- Rampage is starting to let his hands go.  Fighters clinch up and Rampage pushes Bader against the fence.  Landing shots.  Bader goes for a knee and Rampage picks up Bader and slams him.  Reminiscent of his fight against Arona.  Rampage is landing some shots now.  Bader is hurt.  Rampage lands another kick to the body.  Nice right hook by rampage.  Rampage goes forward and Bader gets a takedown.  Bader is in half guard.  Bader is landing shots from the top position.  Quinton is throwing elbows from the bottom.  Quinton is able to get up to his feet, but Bader takes him back down again and gets his back.

Round 3- Rampage is swinging, but Bader ties him up and pushes him against the cage.  Rampage lands a knee to the body from the clinch.  The fighters break up and Bader lands a left.  Bader shoots and it is stuffed.  Bader shoots hard and gets right into side control.  Bader is landing knees.  Rampage gets up.  Bader gets him down again.  Bader is punishing the body, landing punches and elbows.  Bader goes for a kimura.  Quinton gets out of it and the round ends with Rampage in a guillotine.
