Pacquiao Mayweather Set For May 2nd

Christmas came early for boxing fans this year as it was recently announced that long-awaited fight between two of the best pound for pound fighters in the world is finally becoming a reality.  The fight will undoubtedly become the biggest grossing pay per view in history and the tickets to see the fight in Las Vegas will be insanely expensive.

Obviously the two fighters, who agreed to a 60-40 split of the proceeds (Money Mayweather obviously getting the bigger slice) will be well-remunerated. This fight will also hopefully increase the popularity of boxing among the general public.

The PPV is expected to cost $90, $100 for HD.  It’s pricey for sure, but I’m sure that most folks will buy it without hesitation because just about everyone has a few friends who will be willing to throw in for it.  It will be the first time in a long time that I’ll be able to convince non-boxingheads to come over for a fight.
