Louis Gaudinot vs Tim Elliott

It looks like the oddsmakers have no respect for the UFC’s bullshit rankings, since Tim Elliott is the favorite in this fight despite being ranked lower then Louis Gaudinot heading into this bout. Live updates after the jump: [[MORE]]

Round 1: The fighters engage. Massive eyepoke by Elliott, which stops the action. Elliott gets a warning and they restart. Elliott lands a right hook. Elliott gets a takedown and tries for a guillotine from half guard. Elliott is working the body. Gaudinot goes for an armbar and Elliott lets him stand.

Big flying knee from Elliott. Leg kick by Louis. Louis lands a right and pushes Elliot against the cage. Knee to the body by Louis. Left hook by Elliott. Push kick by Elliott. Nice right by Louis. Elliott dives for a leg and comes up punching. A spin kick misses for Louis. Leg kick by Louis. Elliott comes forward with a knee, then gets a takedown and lands a bunch of elbows from the top.

Elliott postures up and lands a lot of hammerfists to the face with a minute and a half remaining. He’s really beating up Louis, who just took a deep breath. Elliot postures up and lands a big punch. Gaudinot gets Elliot off him; they’re back on the feet and Eliot is really pouring it on. Knees and elbow from Elliott, then a takedown. He beats Gaudinot bloody as the round ends.

Round 2: Elliott throws a jumping kick and falls down. He gets up, as Gaudinot lands a leg kick.  lying knee by Elliott lands as he pushes Gaudinot into the fence. Gaudinot has a clinch on, but Elliott probably landed a dozen punches to the body there.

Spinning backfist by Louis and Elliott ducks under. Push kick by Elliot . Kick to the face by Elliott. Jab lands for Elliott. Louis lands a kick. Gaudinot lands a left. Louis looks tired. Elliott lands a pair of punches. Gaudinot lands a right, but he’s bleeding badly out of his nose. Elliott keeps pouring on the offense.

Gauidnot lands a pair of punches. Elliott shoots and is in the guard. Two minutes left with Elliott on top. Nice punch from the top. Elliott is now on Louis’ side and punishing his head and body with elbows. Elliott goes for a leglock as the round ends.

Round 3: Nice right by Gaudinot. Nice kick to the body by Gaudinot, but Elliott takes him down and is working the ground and pound again as Gaudinot covers up. Elliott looking for a choke, but Gaudinot stands up and he’s touching the ground, which makes it illegal to land knees to the head. Gaudinot stands and the fighters separate.

Big kick to the face by Gaudinot, but Elliott keeps pouring it on. Elliott eats another kick as he shoots for the takedown. He has Gaudinot on the ground again with three minutes left to work. Gaudinot is turtled up. Elliott traps his arm and transitions into a full mount. Gaudinot gets back out and is in half guard again. Elliott is still landing a ton of elbows.

Two minutes left now. Gaudinot is just trying to survive as Elliott ceaselessly attacks him with elbows and strikes.
