Live: Fabricio Werdum vs Mike Russow

I broke down and bought the Pay Per View.  Getting into this one a little bit late because I was watching the amazing Victor Ortiz-Josesito Lopez barnburner on Showtime.  Really good fight for boxing after the Pacquio judging debacle.

Mike Russow is an overweight bum with a lot of victories against C-level heavyweights. Fabricio Werdum is an enormous beast. There’s no way Russow gets out of this one with a victory. This matchup can best be described as Brazilian fan service. Gotta keep this stadium full of Brazilians happy. Werdum is just so much bigger than Russow. Russow could easily make light heavyweight if he came into the cage with a reasonable body fat percentage.

Werdum starts the opening round by beating on Russow. At the two-minute mark, he lands a huge leg kick, followed by an uppercut. Russow goes down and Werdum follows him, where he lands a number of strikes.
