Jonathan Brookins vs Charles Oliveira

Charles Oliveira is supposed to be good, but he’s gotten beaten a few times, including a submission by Jim Miller and a knock out by Donald Cerrone. Round 1: Brookins lands a left. Oliveira lands a nice right. Oliveira lands a knee to the face, but Brookins works the takedown. Even though Oliveira is good on the ground, Miller still submitted him. Oliveira threatens with an armbar, but Brookins stands out of it. Referee Kim Winslow stands them up.
Brookins lands a left. Brookins lands a right. Brookins with another a left. Oliveira lands an overhand right and Brookins is hurt. Oliveira ties him up and Brookins is able to get the stars out. Aliveira lands another right, Brookins is hurt again as Oliveira swarms. Now Brookins moves forward and pops Oliveira. Oliveira goes with a superman punch to the knee. Oliveira’s nose is bused. Chaz lands a flying knee and then a knee from the clinch.
10-9 Oliveira. Brookins has a chin on him though.
Round 2: Oliveira with a leg kick. Oliveira with a low blow, but he apologizes. These bros are totally chill with that stuff. Brookins looks like his nads are fine. Back to the action, Brookins is throwing a lot of punches, he pushes Oliveira against the fence. Oliveira lands a nice right.
Oliveira looked for a flying triangle or something like that, Brookins is trying for the guillotine. Has a really nice grip on Oliveira’s neck, but Chaz drops to the ground and pops his head out like a boss. Brookins tries to posture up, but Oliveira sinks in a perfect guillotine choke. Brookins taps out.
Oliveira by guillotine at 2:42 in Round 2. Kim Winslow saw a tap that existed in reality this time and properly ended the fight when one of the fighters wanted to quit. I am sure Dana is waiting for her with a “correct stoppage” bonus.
