Jake Ellenberger vs Jay Hieron

Round 1: Sort of funny to see normal sized dudes in the ring after that last fight. Looks like some fucking giants out there. Hieron lands a jab. Jake lands a right. Hieron lands a left hook. Jake lands a pair of punches as Hieron comes in. Hieron kicks, but it is blocked. Hieron goes for a spinning back kick, but it doesn’t do shit, as is usual for spinning back kicks. Hieron tries to shoot on Jake, but Jake jumps out of the single leg and pops Hieron with a knee. Don’t fucking try to take Jake down brah, bad plan. Fighters just chillaxing now. Not really doing shit. Shitty spinning backfist from Hieron. Sort of grinds my gears when bros who aren’t landing a jab with any regularity try to throw a fucking spinning backfist.
Round 2: Leg kick from Jake. Jake just took a left hook to the head from Hieron. Ellenberger landed a left. Left by Hieron. Hieron turning up the offense, throwing a kick that is blocked. Jake pumping the jab. Hieron throws a hook and Jake shoots and takes Hieron down. Jake landing elbows. Hieron is bleeding. More elbows. Hieron is able to get to his feet, but his face is cut up badly. Jake lands a jab. Jake lands a leg kick, but eats a left. Hieron throws a kick, but it is blocked. Another kick blocked. Leg kick by Hieron. Hieron lands a left, Jake misses nan uppercut. Hieron thows another garbage spinning backfist. Jake thorws a head kick, but misses. Jake blocking kicks from Hieron.
Round 3: Jake throws, Hierons lands the better punch. Jake throws a jab. Jake takes a kick to the testes. He acts like it hurt, but it didn’t look that bad. Hieron thorws and Jake shoots, but Hieron pops up and lands a right as he pops up. Hieron thorws a shitty spinning punch, but is turning up the offense. Hieron kicking , not landing. These Minnesotans are really quick to boo. Jake lands a leg kick. Hieron needs to get moving, but he’s only throwing leg kicks and other shit that doesn’t really do anything. First round was close, but Jake has the second for sure. Hieron is still just throwing leg kicks. Jake hasn’t done much this round, but Hieron needs to push the action, but seems content to be tentative and keep touching his nose. Crowd is booing. Jake throwing a jab. This is a pretty close fight, but these guys don’t really seem to give a fuck. Jake comes forward, but doesn’t do much damage. Crowd continues to boo and it is deserved as neither fighter really wants to finish the fight.
10-9 Hieron I guess. Neither guy did much.
