Goosen: All Good for Andre Ward

Check the video above for a quick update on the finals of Showtime’s Super Six super middleweight tournament between Andre Ward and Carl Froch, which was postponed recently after Ward sustained a cut during training.

Basically it’s promoter Dan Goosen letting us know that Ward just had his stitches out and is ahead of schedule in terms of his recovery. An all-clear is expected later this month so he can return to sparring and be on track to fight December 17th in Atlantic City.

Basically this is good news, though perhaps it lends some credence to Froch’s view that Ward is making much ado about nothing. Either way, December is shaping up to be an excellent fight month and we could use the content for our end of the year print edition.
