Fedor v. Bigfoot

If Fedor loses this fight, Strikeforce will probably go bankrupt.  They should hedge themselves by betting heavily on Bigfoot.

Bigfoot comes in to Eminem’s “Lose Yourself,” Fedor comes out to something that I can only assume is a Russian Orthodox chant. Bigfoot looked sharp in his last fight, but he has a giant head, which makes for a big target. Then again, he is way bigger than Fedor and has a huge reach advantage.

They are comparing Fedor to Wayne Gretsky, even though e lost his last fight.  Frank Shamrock says it’s weird Fedor doesn’t dream about fighting because he dreamt about fighting all the time.  Another odd comment from the brain-dead, orthodontically-challenged legend.

Round 1- Fedor is throwing wild hooks.  Fedor got caught and doesn’t look phased.  Silva in the clinch.  They are saying he is at 285 for this fight.  Miragliotta breaks it up, doing Fedor a huge favor.  Silva looks good so far.  Locks fedor up against the cage again and is going for the takedown.  Silva on the ground.  Fedor on the top.  Crucifix looking for a Kimura, but Silva escapes.    Silva mashes fedor against the cage again and gets the takedown with ten seconds to go. Fedor did not look sharp in the first round.

First round 10-9 Silva.

Round 2-  Silva with the takedown immediately.  So much bigger than Fedor, it would be amazing if he can get up here.  Silva to the crucifix.  Full mount.  Not doing much damage, but he has his back.  Fedor rolled over again and is back around.  Trying to sneak out from the bottom.  Raining down shots from the top.  Fedor turns around again.  Silva has a choke from the top and he is out.  Wow.  One minute left.  Fedor is hurt badly on the bottom.  Silva now has a knee bar.  Fedor turned it around, but Silva is fine.

Second round 10-8 Silva

Fedor’s right eye is fucked up to the max.  If he can’t see the doctor is going to put an end to this fight.  Miragliotta has waived off the fight and they are saying that Silva has won.  Silva just realized that he won.  Fedor’s cut man is still working.  Might be a bit of a language barrier.

Nice win for Silva.  Aside from this fight, a terrible night of fighting.  This Grand Prix has just become even less compelling.  Scott Coker probably wants to kill himself right now.
