Evangelista Santos vs Jordan Mein

Evangelista Santos stinks. He also shares the nickname “Cyborg” with his wife, who doesn’t stink and is probably the best female fighter in the world. Never seen Jordan Mein before. Round-by-round updates after the jump:

Round 1-Mein looking good in the striking so far. He is more precise with his punches than Santos, who misses with most of his punches, but is landing some leg kicks. Santos just got wobbled with an uppercut. Santos lands a nice leg kick, which almost knocks Mein over, but Mein recovers his balance.

Boring first round. I’ll give it to Mein 10-9 for landing some solid shots but wouldn’t be surprised if the judges gave it to Santos for being more accurate.

Round 2-Santos is throwing lots of kicks but they don’t seem to be doing a ton of damage so far. Santos just landed a massive leg kick. He’s really snapping them off.  Mein landing some shots now. Santos really isn ’t protecting his head effectively. Mein is landing some nice shots.

Santos seems to have momentarily forgotten about his kicks and is getting picked apart in a boxing match.Back to throwing kicks now. Another boring round. 10-9 Mein. I think that round was pretty close too. Santos has landed some great leg kicks, but that’s about it.

Round 3-Mein is really killing Santos on the feet at this point. Landing tons of shots, Santos looks like he is out on his feet. Mein lands about five standing elbows in a row that are totally undefended. Fight is over.  

The ref really let Santos get his face bashed up before he stepped in. Can’t remember the last time I saw a guy land so many elbows on the feet. Really hard to land those when a guy has his wits about him. Get this guy to a motherfucking hospital, his face looks like he just flew through a windshield. Nice fight.
