First game in club history at Seattle Sounders, perennial powerhouse. Supporters erupted into delirium after ten minutes when Mexican international Carlos Vela turned and fed fellow designated player Diego Rossi of Uruguay on a perfectly timed through ball. Rossi needed just one touch to power the ball past the outstretched keeper for the first goal in club history. If it is any indication of the future, good things are to come.
