Dennis Bermudez vs Tommy Hayden

Round 1: Tommy Hayden looks like he already has a cut on his nose. Like before the fight started. Whatever. There’s a few exchanges, but nothing happens. Dennis Bermudez picks Hayden up off a single and has him on the ground with four minutes left to work. Hayden works to his feet.

Hayden lands a glancing kick to the body. Hayden lands a right and shoots, but Bermudez sprawls. Bermudez has a hold of Hayden’s neck and goes for his back, but doesn’t get it. Dennis gets off a knee as Tommy stands. Tommy lands a huge left knee to Bermudez’s face and he has Bermudez’s back. Bermudez works out of it, but ends up in an armbar. Bermudez slams out of it and is on top.

Bermudez passes to side control, but ends up in half guard again. He’s landing some elbows, but Tommy closes his guard. Tommy is able to work to his feet. Bermudez lands a nice kick to the face, Tommy holds on for dear life. Bermudez sinks a standing guillotine and ends the fight as Hayden taps. Bermudez is freakishly strong.
