Cub Swanson vs Charles Oliveira

Finally here on Pay Per View. Mike Goldberg is looking positively svelte. Cub Swanson put a beating on Ross Pearson the last time they fought.  Charles Oliveira is young and very well-rounded, but doesn’t hit as hard as Cub does.

Round 1: Charles lands a jab. Cub with a leg kick. Cub misses a punch and a kick. It looks like Cub landed there, but Oliveira got the takedown. The ring is spotted with blood already, mainly from the Dunham vs. Grant fight. Charles in the guard and landing elbows, but Cub works to his feet. Swanson is throwing bombs, but missing most of them.

Charles lands a knee. Cub lands a right to the body and follows it up with a left to the body. Cub throws a huge right hook, smiles, and Charles goes down sort of delayed. Cub just stands over him and shows good sportsmanship, by not following him to the ground.

Cub Swanson by KO at 2:40. That’s an upset. Cub Swanson with his second impressive victory in a row, proving the win against Pearson wasn’t a fluke.
