Chan Sung Jung vs Mark Hominick

The Korean Zombie comes out to “Zombie” by the Cranberries. Terrible song, but hilarious that he came out to it. Really like Chan Sung Jung, who won his last fight against Leonard Garcia with the first twister in UFC history, a move he learned from an Eddie Bravo video.

In Hominick’s last fight he gave Aldo a really hard time despite a hematoma that made him look like E.T. Hominick is a beast and looks absolutely jacked. He’s a very large featherweight. The Zombie is famous for coming forward no matter how much punishment he takes.

Round 1-Fighters come in and the Zombie hits Hominick. Hominick throws a wild right that whiffs and walks into the Zombie’s straight right. Zombie swarms the Machine and lands a few more shots before Herb Dean stops it. Chan Sung Jung wins by KO.

Hominick was getting popped repeatedly in the jaw. It was a good stoppage. Seven seconds for the Korean Zombie’s KO, tying Todd Duffee’s record. This is an enormous upset. Reminds me of Melvin Guillard’s last fight against Joe Lauzon. Hominick just went straight for the kill and got caught. Hominick acknowledges afterward that he came out too wild.
