Brian Caraway vs Johnny Bedford

Hopefully Miesha Tate doesn’t tell her husband Brian Caraway that he’s winning the fight against Johnny Bedford while he’s losing, like she did last time when he failed to push the action and lost a decision. Live updates after the jump:[[MORE]]

Round 1: Left by Caraway. Caraway shoots, but it’s stuffed. Eye poke. Bedford just keeps fighting. Caraway is landing the left pretty easily. Left by Caraway lands again. Front kick by Caraway. Bedford lands a right hand. Left hook to the body by Caraway.

Caraway gets a hold of Bedford and drags him to the ground. Caraway is stuck to Bedford’s back and is covering his mouth. Bedford doing his best to defend the choke. Bedford is able to get up and whiffs on a big kick.

Big right from Bedford and a kick to the body. Left lands again for Caraway. Bedford didn’t even really notice it this time. Left lands for Caraway. Right uppercut for Caraway. Bedford with a knee to the body. Pair of huge punches from Bedford, but Caraway shakes it off. Caraway shoots and lands a few more punches as the round ends.

Round 2: Caraway shoots, Bedford stuffs it. Caraway keeps pumping his left. Right uppercut by Caraway. Bedford lands a right and a knee to the body. Bedford’s face is bloody. Bedford lands a left hand. The fighters clinch, then break. Leg kick by Bedford. Uppercut lands for Caraway.

Big left lands for Caraway. Another left. Right by Caraway. Caraway shoots a double and gets the takedown. Bedford throwing elbows from the bottom as Caraway passes into half guard. There’s a pretty big cut on the right side of Bedford’s face. Caraway working the body with elbows. Now a few elbows to the head. Lots of elbows. Caraway steps out into side control. Scramble, upkick landed by Bedford as the round ends.

Round 3: Caraway still landing the left at will. Bedford lands a right. Spin-kick from Bedford. Both fighters whiff on punches. Right by Caraway. Eyepoke. The ref lets them keep fighting. A second eyepoke missed.

Bedford lands a hard left hook. Bedford needs to end this fight, but he’s not really pushing forward. Caraway shoots and ends up on top with three minutes left to work. Armbar attempt by Bedford, but Caraway spins out of it nicely and is back on top. Upkick by Bedford lands. Caraway punishing the body. Bedford isn’t doing shit.

The crowd boos, but without much conviction. Caraway is trying for a guillotine. He locks it in and gets the submission.  

Caraway by submission. Bedford looked like shit, getting dominated by a dude who took the fight on six days notice. Nice finish though.
