Round 1: Big left from Tim Means. Justin Salas is hurt badly. Means swarms, but Salas has been concussed for some time and is just getting more concussed. Big knees from Means. They need to end this fight, but the world’s worst referee Chris Adams is letting it go on a minute too long. Salas has no defense whatsoever, and is badly out of it.

Means with a knee, he lands another five shots while Salas staggers around the ring. Salas shoots and Means sprawls, it looks like Salas knocked himself out shooting as he hits the ground. Means sprawls with a couple of shots to the already finished Salas and Adams finally stops it. Chris Adams should have stopped it after the first few knees. He should have stopped it again after Means landed roughly five undefended punches to Salas’ face. Ouch. Get this guy out of the cage.

Tim Means by knockout 1:06 at the first round.

So the announcers didn’t think it was important to mention the “knockout blow” and it was edited out on the replay. But they showed all the shots Means landed that should have finished the fight, as well as the final few blows after Salas fell on his face. Ref should have stepped in earlier. Great show of heart from Justin Salas, who got clipped and never recovered, but kept coming forward.
