Bellator 69 Live: Mark Holata vs Abe Wagner

Round 1: Mark Holata lands a left, shoots and takes down Abe Wagner. Haven’t seen Wagner since TUF, but I remember his lack of cardio. Wagner is moving his guard up high and is going for an armbar. Holata is pretty chunky, and smaller than Abe, but seems to be outmuscling him so far. Holata isn’t getting anything done at all.

Holata goes for a foot lock and Abe counters with a foot lock of his own. I didn’t see a tap, but the ref said Abe tapped. I just watched it again and I’m not seeing a tap, maybe it was a verbal tap. Abe isn’t complaining and is walking light on his leg. Yup, there it is. Replay shows a verbal tap. Holata by heel hook.
