Alan Belcher vs Jason MacDonald

Verizon is charging me 70 bucks for this Mayweather fight, 69 dollars of which are probably going straight into Floyd’s pocket. UFC fight night is free. I’m going to be switching back and forth between the two.

I have a sneaking suspicion the free product might be more exciting. First fight is on for boxing and no one is there. UFC event looks pretty packed for the first televised fight between Alan Belcher and Canada’s Jason MacDonald.

Round 1-Lot of clinching not much action. MacDonald pulls Belcher into his closed guard, which does not seem like a good strategy given how beastly Belcher is. Belcher is able to posture up and is bashing MacDonald’s brains in with elbows and various other strikes.

The Canuck is trying for a Kimura but his face is fucked to the max. Belcher is now trying to just punch from a standing position. Belcher is continuing to rain down strikes, should be over soon. It is over. That was a fast and fun first bout. Stoppage due to strikes with about a minute left.
